Arsenal and Chelsea learn FA Cup fifth round tie dates, kick-off times and TV slots

The FA Cup fifth round fixtures have been confirmed for March 6-9, 2026 and Arsenal and Chelsea will hope to overcome Mansfield Town and Wrexham for a place in the quarter-final

The FA Cup has confirmed kick-off times and broadcast details for the fifth-round fixtures, with several matches set to be televised for supporters throughout the UK. Arsenal and Chelsea are among the first to be broadcast as they attempt to continue their march to Wembley on March 7.

The Gunners travel to Mansfield Town while the Blues make the trip to the Racecourse Ground to face Wrexham. Both sides will hope to avoid upsets on their way to the trophy, with their opponents already securing giant-killing victories over the likes of Burnley and Nottingham Forest.

As the lowest-ranked club still competing in the tournament, Mansfield face a considerable challenge when they welcome Arsenal in the fifth round of the FA Cup. But the League One outfit produced a stunning 2-1 victory over Burnley.

Although Josh Laurent put Scott Parker’s team ahead early on, the contest at Turf Moor completely shifted after the interval. Rhys Oates drew the Stags level shortly after the restart, before Louis Reed wrapped up a memorable triumph with approximately 10 minutes remaining.

While Chelsea overcame Hull City with ease, Josh Windass’ goal earned a narrow victory for Wrexham against Ipswich Town. Phil Parkinson’s side previously overcame Nottingham Forest on penalties.

Brentford also remain in the hat after ending Macclesfield’s remarkable cup adventure. The National League side were viewed as significant outsiders when the Eagles made the journey to Moss Rose on January 10, considering Palace entered the competition not only 117 places above them in the English football pyramid, but also as the Cup’s reigning champions.

Nevertheless, the Silkmen delivered triumph to Treacle Town courtesy of a 2-1 shock victory over Oliver Glasner’s team, with goals from Paul Dawson and Isaac Buckley-Ricketts overturning Yeremy Pino’s late effort. Any aspirations of progressing further in the competition were dashed earlier this month, however, as Brentford emerged 1-0 victors in the fourth round.
